01 Invocation
Beauty on stage is born from repetition away from it.
Medha Mayuri G S is a classical dance practitioner, performer and choreographer who works across five traditions — Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, Odissi and folk — alongside group and cultural productions.
She holds a B.A. in Bharatanatyam from Annamalai University, Chennai, and an M.Sc. in Physics. The two are less separate than they look: both are disciplines of measurement, and both reward the person who can tell a near-correct answer from a correct one.
She has taken top prizes and first grades at District and State Kalolsavam, won the MG University Youth Festival, and placed in B-Zone and Interzone competition at Calicut University. She now sits on adjudication panels, assessing laya, tala, anga-shuddhi and abhinaya.
